The Air You Breathe.
Plants are more than decor—they are living, breathing companions that transform the quality of your environment. Many varieties naturally filter airborne toxins, regulate humidity, and contribute to a fresher, more balanced indoor atmosphere.
In a world where we spend most of our time indoors, even small additions of greenery can have a meaningful impact. From improving focus in your workspace to promoting better rest in your bedroom, plants quietly support your daily rhythms.
Explore our curated high-oxygen collection—carefully chosen for both their aesthetic appeal and functional benefits. Designed for modern living, these plants bring together beauty, purpose, and a breath of fresh air.

The Ethos.
IndoorPlantStores was established in 2014 as a small studio in East London, born from a quiet obsession with the relationship between space, light, and living form. What began as a modest collection of carefully tended plants quickly evolved into a design philosophy—one that sees nature not as decoration, but as an essential part of how we experience our environments.
From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: to bridge the gap between high-end architectural design and the raw, untamed beauty of the botanical world. We believe that plants are more than objects—they are living elements that soften structure, shape atmosphere, and bring a sense of calm into the rhythm of daily life.
Our process is intentionally slow. We work exclusively with small-scale growers who prioritize patience, sustainability, and organic cultivation methods over mass-market efficiency. Every plant is grown with care, allowed to mature naturally, and selected only when it meets our standards for health, structure, and longevity.
This approach ensures that each plant arriving at your doorstep is not only visually striking, but deeply resilient—with strong roots and the ability to adapt and thrive within your home for years to come.
As our studio grew, so did our understanding of how people connect with their spaces. We began curating collections not just based on species, but on lifestyles—plants for quiet corners, for creative workspaces, for restful bedrooms. Each selection is guided by the belief that well-designed environments should feel alive, balanced, and personal.
Today, we operate from our flagship greenhouse in San Francisco, where design and cultivation exist side by side. From here, we ship thoughtfully curated collections across the continent, maintaining the same hands-on attention that defined our earliest days.
Despite our growth, our core philosophy remains unchanged: to make the presence of nature effortless, accessible, and meaningful. Whether you’re introducing your very first plant or building a living collection, we’re here to help you create a space that breathes with you.
Assistance.
How do you handle shipping for fragile plants?
We use custom-engineered, recycled cardboard inserts that suspend each plant securely in place, preventing soil displacement and minimizing leaf stress. Packaging is tailored based on plant type, size, and current weather conditions to ensure safe transit.
What is your "Thrive Guarantee"?
If your plant shows signs of decline within the first 30 days, our botanical specialists will guide you through a personalized care plan via virtual consultation. If recovery isn’t possible, we will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
Can I request a specific plant size or appearance?
Yes. Through our Botanical Consultation service, you can request particular sizes, shapes, or unique characteristics such as variegation. We will match your request with available nursery stock whenever possible.
How often should I water my plants?
Watering frequency varies depending on the species, light exposure, and humidity levels in your space. Each plant includes tailored care instructions, but as a general rule, allow the soil to partially dry between watering cycles.
Do you offer guidance after purchase?
Absolutely. We provide ongoing support through care guides and optional consultations. Our goal is not just to deliver plants, but to ensure they thrive long after they arrive in your home.
Are your plants suitable for low-light spaces?
Many of our plants are specifically selected for adaptability, including varieties that perform well in low to moderate light. You can explore these options in our curated “low-light” collection.
What if my plant arrives damaged?
While rare, transit stress can occasionally occur. If your plant arrives in poor condition, simply contact us within 48 hours with photos, and we will resolve the issue promptly.
